K-Plussa rules for corporate customers
1. K-Plussa system
In the K-Plussa system, corporate Plussa customers are granted benefits based on their purchases of consumer goods or other transactions from K-stores and partners of Kesko Corporation that have joined the system. The stores participating in the K-Plussa system can be identified by a special symbol.
The K-Plussa system is operated by:
Kesko Corporation, Helsinki Business ID 0109862-8 PO Box 1, FI-00016 KESKO
Any inquiries, proposals and comments concerning the system and the Plussa customer relationship should be submitted to the Kesko Corporation (‘Company’).
2. Plussa customers
2.1 How to join
A representative of a company that engages in permanent business operations in Finland who has the authority to sign documents for the company may become a corporate Plussa customer. Such a person may order 1-5 corporate Plussa cards for the company they represent.
The corporate Plussa customer relationship of a person who meets the requirements specified here in section 2.1 begins when a signed application is submitted to any of the stores participating in the system or an online application is sent.
2.2 Plussa card
A corporate Plussa customer receives a numbered Plussa card, which can also include separately agreed upon additional features.
A fee indicated in the current price list is charged for the Plussa card when the application is submitted.
If a Plussa card is lost, the cardholder must notify the Plussa customer service as soon as possible so that the card can be cancelled. The cardholder is responsible for the use of the card until a notification of a lost card is made.
3. Plussa benefits
3.1 Benefits for corporate Plussa customers
Corporate Plussa customers may be granted price, service or shopping-based benefits.
4. Plussa customer data file
The personal data of a corporate Plussa customer are recorded in the Company’s Plussa customer data file. Purchases made by a corporate Plussa customer using the Plussa card are registered at product level.
A corporate Plussa cardholder may forbid the registration of product-specific data, in which case the purchases are registered at product category level. If a cardholder has forbidden the registration of product data, the cardholder cannot use services and benefits that require product data. A corporate Plussa cardholder may also forbid the registration of product category level data by notifying the Company of this. Corporate Plussa customers or parallel cardholders may also forbid the registration of all purchase data. The total prohibition of the registration of purchase data requested by a corporate Plussa customer always applies to both the corporate Plussa customer and any holders of parallel cards. Customers who have forbidden the registration of their purchase data will receive any direct discounts available by showing their Plussa card.
The Company may use the personal data in the Plussa customer data file and the customer data accumulated from the use of the corporate Plussa card, and disclose and transfer the data to firms participating in the K-Plussa system for their marketing purposes. A corporate Plussa cardholder may forbid the use and transfer of their personal data for this purpose by notifying the Company of this.
The Company may disclose and transfer the contact information of a corporate Plussa cardholder as entered in the Plussa customer data file to update the personal data in a personal data file controlled by a company participating in the K-Plussa system and intended for the management of the customer relationship between this company and the customer and/or for marketing purposes. The cardholder may forbid such disclosure and transfer of information by notifying the Company of this.
5. Termination of customer relationship
A corporate Plussa customer relationship is terminated when a notice of termination is given by the corporate Plussa customer to the Company. The Company has the right to terminate a corporate Plussa customer relationship without any separate action if the purchases registered by the corporate Plussa customer using their Plussa card fall below one thousand (1,000) euros for twenty-four (24) successive months.
If a corporate Plussa customer does not comply with these rules or otherwise no longer meets the requirements established for a corporate Plussa customer, the Company has the right to terminate the corporate Plussa customer relationship by sending a notice of termination to the corporate Plussa customer. The customer relationship will be terminated one (1) month after the receipt of the notice of termination.
The Company has the right to discontinue the K-Plussa system by informing Plussa customers of this no later than three (3) months in advance.
6. Other terms and conditions
A corporate Plussa cardholder must inform the Company of their postal address in Finland and of any changes to the address without delay. A corporate Plussa cardholder must inform the Company without delay if the company they represent discontinues its business operations or changes it name. The Company will send customer mail only inside Finland.
The Company has the right to change the rules of the K-Plussa system by so informing the Plussa customers. Any changes to the rules become effective no earlier than one (1) month from the date on which the Plussa customers have been informed of the change. If the customer continues to use the Plussa card after the effective date of the changes, the customer is considered to have accepted the amended terms and conditions.
The Company is considered to have duly notified the customer in accordance with these rules when the Company has sent notification to the postal or e-mail address that the Plussa customer last provided to the Company. The Plussa customer is considered to have received notification on the seventh day after the information has been sent at the latest.
